History of Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization (SEO) very much related to  Google today. However, the practice we now know as SEO actually pre-dates the world’s most popular search engine co-founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

SEO and all search engine marketing started with the launch of the first website published in 1991.Actually the story of SEO officially started around 1997. In 1997 the World Wide Web was a new experience to the most people.

Search engines changed the information's they find, conduct research, shop's,products and services and connecting with others.website, blog, social network, or any app's – is also working like a search engine. Search engines are becoming a directional guide and connecting force to people's everyday life.

In 2000,Google was a little-known search engine. The end result's in every Yahoo search its saying powered by google, Yahoo ended and introduced its largest competitor to the world and Google become the largest search engine.

Now, YouTube have more than 1.65 billion users. The popularity of youtube , video SEO become necessary for every brands, businesses, and service providers that they wanted to be found.Google also launched two important products in 2006 first one is Google analytics and second one was Google webmaster tools.

Really google  began to see search for starting to involve in a new and exciting ways on 2007. All of these updates are aimed at improving user trust and want to give a good experience.

The Rise of Social Media

Another  factor comes to emerged in the 2000's – social networks. social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.Today social networks such as facebook,twitter and instagram giving user's a platform to social interaction's. All  app's emerged as major players (so many will come and go in the following years).

Panda & Penguin

Google done Two major algorithmic updates, in 2011 and 2012, had made a big impact on SEO. Google attempting to clean up its search results and gave reward's  to high-quality sites.

In 2011, Google found its search results facing “content farms”  were dominating the search results.

As a result, these sites getting lots of advertising income.  These sites were also living and dying by organic traffic from Google. So once Google's Panda update rolled out in 2011, many websites saw much like this, Google traffic vanish'd these sites overnight. Panda targeted to eliminate  the  low-quality (or thin) content websites, Panda is updating periodically in the coming years.The penguin algorithm aimed on link schemes and keyword stuffing.Penguin isn’t  frequently updating one as panda. And, like Panda, penguin become a unavoidable part  of google's algorithm after 2016.

Google search expanded to mobile's for using friendly. All over the world changed from desktop to mobile. Mobile search available in all language's. user's are getting easier and relevant high quality results. Today 57% of peoples have using mobile search  and 43% on desktop. Mobile search engines offers so many option's for users mobile dictionary search, question's & answer;s and mobile navigation also. In 2017 46.8% of the global population accessed mobile internet. Number of people using internet is increasing day by day
