Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a premium web analytics service offered by google that helps to tack and reports of our web site traffic. Google launched this service in November 2005 after acquiring Urchin google Analytics is now the most widely used web analytics service on the internet.
Importance of Google Analytics
Google Analytics is very important and helpful in digital marketing tool, seriously understood by many of business. It allows you to measure and calculate the result of individual campaigns in real time compyare the data with previous periods and so much more.
google Analytics is free tool that we can used to track information's about the way visitor's to your site interact with it. Google Analytics shows 4 types of traffic by default :Referral,Organic,paid and Direct traffic.
google Analytics can answer the following questions
- Sign in with Google Analytics with our Google account
- Click admin button on left side bar in our Dashbar
- Select our account or if don't have create an account
- click on dropdown menu to create property
- Click on website and add site's name and URL
- Choose industry
- Select time zone
- Click lo tracking ID
- Install tracking ID on website
Account: where Each property lives in Dashboard, we can set multiple property in one account or multiple account for different properties.
Property: The website or Mobile app you wish to track
Tracking ID: A common code added to your site that allows Google analytic to track it.
Conversion: Visit that turns to customers
Traffic source: Show where traffic came's from . such as referral or links from other devices ,sites,search engines,social medea or email.
Bounce rate: percentage of people visitors that view only single page and then they leave
Landing page: The first page visitor sees when vising website.
Organic Search: Visitor who search website link on search result's page
segment: A way to filter data , such as category and types of visitors .
Acquisition: Shows where traffic comes from . Such as search engines, social media ,email marketing, and links from other devices.
keywords: Tells you what search words visitor used to find the website on search engine.
conversions: Tracks how many visitors are converting to subscribers,shoppers,and actual customers.
Users: Monitor how many customers actually got on website.
